Paragon Martial Arts Students at DCES
Practice “Black Belt Attitude”

 

Students at Deer Creek Elementary school have been practicing their Black Belt attitude at school, home and at their after school karate class . In addition to sharing how they used their Black Belt attitude with teachers, friends and family, students practice their martial arts moves while reciting the words, “Attitude, I have a Black Belt attitude”.
The eight week program has been very successful in recognizing and reinforcing the positive behavior that students demonstrate at home and school. Students who receive the pink key or student of the month awards receive special recognition at their martial arts class. At the end of eight week session, students will have the opportunity to test for their next belt color.

 

Notes From Our Parents

“We have noticed big improvements in the attitude and confidence of our children since they began your classes. They have on several occasions picked up and washed dishes after dinner as well as put away their clothes and helped put away their mother’s clothes. They have done this work without being asked to. We believe they have been showing the heart of a black belt in many ways already.”
